Diana Jan Joins The Shops at Tanforan
The ICSC-accredited certified marketing director and academic will focus on both increasing productivity and reinforcing the California center’s community ties.
The Shops at Tanforan in San Bruno, California, has a new marketing director: Diana Jan. A faculty member of the Academy of Art University’s School of Fashion in San Francisco, she brings more than 15 years of retail and shopping center marketing experience to the position, along with core competencies in advertising and media, business development, strategic client relations, budgeting, and project management.
“Diana’s comprehensive background in strategic planning, public relations, market research, events, promotions, and campaign results analysis uniquely qualifies her to achieve the vision and marketing goals for The Shops at Tanforan’s unquestionably bright future,” said Linda Larson, the center’s general manager.
Jan’s background includes marketing planning and implementation with The Taubman Company, where she was marketing director for the Hilltop and Stoneridge shopping centers. As past VP of the Northern California Marketing Directors Association, she is no stranger to collaborative work and relationship building, either. These skills will be key as she leads The Shops at Tanforan’s community outreach initiatives and solidifies retailer relations, while remaining focused on increasing the center’s traffic and sales.
Diana Jan is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in L.A., and an ICSC-accredited certified marketing director.
